Vacuum Brazing
Why Vacuum Brazing?
Vacuum brazing allows us to provide our customers with advanced metal-to-ceramic, metal-to-composite and metal-to-metal bonding solutions for use in fabricated electronic enclosures. Vacuum brazing offers the combination of high cleanliness and uniform heating and cooling processes. This process is ideal for oxidation sensitive materials such as those used in the aerospace industry. Compared to other metallurgical techniques for joining aluminum, vacuum furnace has several technical advantages:
- High strength, void-free, leak-free joints
- Temperature resistance up to 350° F (176C)
- Uniform thermal conductivity
- Ability to fill long, otherwise inaccessible joints
- Minimal distortion due to uniform heating and cooling
